Our Business Philosophy

Our business is dedicated to customer satisfaction and quality service. We strive to provide you with a productive fishing excursion and memories that will bring you back time and again. Once you feel the thrill and power of that "Dancing Steelhead" or "Diving King Salmon" you'll be hooked on Big Lake Fishing.

Weekender Charters is a family owned and operated business and a member of the Manisstee County Convention and Visitors Bureau. Captain Rick masters the boat and wife Linda takes care of all the Charter bookings, correspondence, web page and even gets to fish once in a while. First Mate Donny has been a close family friend for many years and knows his stuff when it comes to Great Lakes fishing. Rick and Donny have fished together for many years. Both grew up in Michigan, Rick in the Upper Peninsula and Donny Downstate. They have fished most of the Great Lakes and plenty of inland lakes as well.
